Iranian Embassy Siege - SAS in Action

The SAS assault, codenamed "Operation Nimrod", was broadcast live on TV on the 5th May 1980. It was viewed by millions of people, mostly in the UK, making it a defining moment in British history. The BBC and ITV interrupted their programming to show the end of the siege. Now discover the inside story of what lead up to the raid, how it almost went tragically wrong, and how it cemented the Special Air Service as the elite.

Note : For a small additional fee I can bring examples of weapons & equipment along to
face-to-face meetings for you to examining.

My interest is aviation.

However, I am able to share with you the story of what happened inside the Iranian embassy when the Special Air Service (SAS) were instructed by Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to rescue the hostages and bring an end to the 5-day siege in 1980.

An amazing story of bravery and an example of how the British deal with terrorists.
